So,
I have both aftermarket software www.dealertool.co.uk and tuneecu.net software. I replaced my rear brake fluid as its was going bad and due replacement, I decided to bleed ABS module on my rocket 2.5. Both of the software were able to read the ABS module as they should but when I tried to initiate the ABS bleed procedure they both failed, dealertool gave a message ABS bleed complete but in reality does nothing to module while tuneecu just gave an error right away.
I contacted owners of the software and they said its not supported.

There is no way anyone can bleed this ABS MODULE without dealer.
My question is, do we really need to bleed abs module, if yes, why? if not, why?

I bleed mine last dec with the Deleartool and work perfectly.I don't understand why they told you it not supported? Do you hear the ABS actuating while bleeding the ABS? Remember you need to wait between each bleeds ad the ABS module get hot and requires to be cooled.

i used dealertool and it did nothing when I tried to bleed it. it just said " bleeding complete ". Dealertool was able to read the ABS module without any issues. Not sure whats going on there, I tried both version of dealertool but no luck. Which Dealertool version you have and did you open the bleed valve on caliper before or after clicking 'abs bleed' in software?

Sorry I can't remember, I belive the dealer tool will tell you step by step procedure. But you definitely will hear the ABS module actuate.

perhaps your vin/year has to do something with this, but if you can get hands on the computer and tell the version, that would be great
