Ok I did the cam cover gasket, and cover bolt seals! Went ok, had some help with a friend. After seeing this plastic air box idiotic set up. I have seen many posts about upgrading to the triple K & N filter set up. My question to you gear heads is, what about the MAF sensor and the other sensor in the stock intake manifold??? I know there are threads on this but I can find a straight answer. My bike has the T O R 's mufflers and local dealer did the map for them. Otherwise stock engine ! Thanks in advance!

the map sensor gets hung somewhere nice with a zip strip. all vacuum lines and electrical still hooked to it. (it was just mounted on the box). Now for the temp sensor it goes in a little filter and hung near the intake area. The ram air foam replacement filter has a place for the temp sensor so if you have not ordered anything yet you might want to consider their filter set up.

Thanks for taking the time to reply !! I just watched a video on you tube showing the ramair installation! Great video, guy shows you step by step. I think I'm sold on the ramair! Too bad I didn't order it before putting bike all back together !! Ohh well I'll be an expert!!!

Be sure it is a 2nd generation cos the first generation slip off and crack.

Thanks for tip on 2nd generation also do I have to remap??? I had motor mapped by dealer when I installed the TORs!

Get the Ramair, and then ask @HansO nicely and he will send you a tune that you can install yourself with TuneECU. The dealer can only install OEM Triumph tunes, and they are not as good.

Is the tune for an amateur to install or is it too complicated lol won't I need some sort of cables to go from computer to tune ecu ?
