Detent spring diagnosis

A view of a good in tact mounted detent spring thru the water pump hole. Radiator still in place but coolant drained, oil still in the engine.

Did you use a boroscope to see that?

Yes sir a older harbor freight model. I used inside the cylinders to to see one of the broken pistons I had.

I also used it to set the alignment dots on the crankshaft with the supercharger cover in place . This was before they had them fancy ones amd smart phones
I imagine there is some bizarre stuff out there now.
