I think if it is not disarmed correctly it can chew more amp/hours as many of us with them have had a similar experience now. Me, Steve and Rob I know of. maybe different models I know but mine is a really early one I got from the UK 2nd hand. Steve reckons when he took the time to press the remote as he walked away it it chewed less and lasted longer.
Poor Ken, he probably cringes when I come up on his phone, I left it in the saddlebags for a week at my shop, he had to charge battery and when I picked up the bike I had killed the fob battery too, but my mechanic had another battery out of his truck fob and saved the day
Note to self: don't keep fob in saddlebags. Ken said but I told you that, I said I m one of those guys that has to learn the hard way

@HarryLime Unfortunately not doing these at the moment - have yet to find a suitable replacement for the RFID Receiver/Fob so it's on a hiatus in the meantime
