DAYTONA BOOTS - HUGE SALE!

Chris,
The inside zippers are covered with a leather flap and present no hazard to anything.
Much easier for me to reach my insteps than twist my back to reach the outside of my ankle.
On boots previous to 2016, I have had zippers installed, used elastic laces, fancy-ass lace work and clips.
Worn $200 + Red Wing, Timberland, Wolverine & Danner. Great boots, but heavy, unflexable and built for work and shuffling through the crap. All unnecessary for motor riding. Motor boots provide foot and ankle protection and are lightweight and suited way better for wearing all day and walking around when stropped. I'll not go back to boots not specifically made for motor riding.

@1olbull Steve - A bit off tack. Have you tried the BOA speed-lacing system yet? - I keep "almost" buying something with BOA - usually find they don't have my size!.

Wow although they kind of look cool they do not have any with safety toes steel or composite. hows is a guy supposed to play Kentucky road hockey without the proper protection

Interesting, haven't tried.
I feel the laces are the weak point of non motor boots, which I feel need to protect the face of your feet and your shins.

I just ordered a pair of

Merlin Titan Outlast Boots (Color: Black / Size: 45)

Hope they are comfortable. I have worn lace up shoes since the crash broke both feet. I didn't have the rods and screws put in my feet, just got a pair of soft shoes and feet healed fine. However, after getting the shoe laces caught twice on the shifter at a light (left foot hangs up just as you are in a lean to put your foot down), it's time to get back to ridding boots. I will post how they do, 200 bucks or so
