Yep another long servicing member of my business.....I only work with brass so they have an easy life ..and I couldn’t do without either of them

Looks like you have an L5 Harrison..nice i have the 11" which is more or less the same...sorry for thread hijack

Yes I bought that for NZ$5K, £2580.00 about 25 years ago it's been a great machine, just the right size for the work I do.
I now have a small mill to compliment this.

I think my Harrison might be a little older, it has a different gearbox for the feed speeds.
Same quick change tool post, you don't have a spare quick change tool holder ? or know where I can get another one ?

Well fellow Captains, an update on the saga. I received the LHS pipe back from the manufacturers wrapped and packaged as if it were a crystal ornament on special order for Grannie at Christmas. That I don't have a problem with unless they were trying to take the p$ss! The pipe 'changed to my specification' almost fitted. The angle of the slash cut is still out but only by about 5 degrees now. The problem now was the mounting bracket on the pipe didn't match the hanger on the bike anymore and the LHS pipe is now 10mm shorter than RHS. Well, one big hammer and the use of vice sorted out the bracket conundrum and finally after 6 weeks I have an exhaust back on the bike. There are several interesting issues here that have surfaced and I shall let you all make up your own minds as to quality, customer service etc.. My only recommendation is that if you are thinking of changing your exhaust, buy carefully and froma recognised and preferred brand!!
Finally, I would like to thank all of you who were able to help and with your mechanical and engineering knowledge verify and point out the errors in the manufacture - Thank you

That is really disappointing. I had excellent service and contact with Dave personally and the product fit perfectly and the finish was excellent. I do not know how it would have been if I had of had an issue. I am happy for you that you have an exhaust on the bike eventually. Cheers mate
