Darkside R3T - Yokohama Avid Envigor 205/60R16?

That may be key - Touring. Can't imagine my pegs ever touching down. I'm probably the least aggressive rider you could meet, so my experience/observations are nothing on which to base a darkside decision. Slightly over a thousand miles now and it just seems to suit me. I believe that if I somehow manage to get onto the sidewall of this tire, it will be for a very short time and I'll have bigger problems immediatly following! In any case, I'm keeping an eye on the "nubs" just off the edge of the tread to see how close I get. Now, having said that, I do enjoy a quick light-to-light challenge. Especially from some kid in a tuner who just has to be in front of the "old guy" on his "Harley"! Problem is, my launch is terrible so I'm always playing catch-up - but not for long. I'd love to ride a Standard just once.

Ride safe,

C'mon guys, I'm not bashing Darksiders... just stating an opinion and some salient facts as I've experienced them. My take is the same as it is for using a helmet or not. At the end of the day, it's a matter of individual choice.

If the Touring model has a lesser lean angle (hence, keeping it off of the sidewall) than other iterations of the Rocket, then, other than for some relatively minor adjustments the rider will have to make input, response and effort-wise, I would have no compunctions about using a car tire on it.
