You will like the D&D slip ons little bit louder than the tors but your neighbors won't complain.
Triumph put a tune in for me and she ran really good. Then I loaded a tune using tune ecu and a modified tune from @HansO and that really woke the girl up.

Have fun and good luck with the new pipes.

Freedom Cycle Reno just wrapped my Jardine header. It helps. If you change your mind about performance and/or the TOR tune doesn't work for you, Brad does amazing stuff on the dyno. But you have to install a Power Commander and come to Reno.

They told me that they just wrapped one in their Reno store, it must be you they were talking about. I will get some miles on mine before I do anything about the performance. There is a Brad here in Las Vegas at the store also, he is the brother of the owner, Mark.

The very same Brad.

The very same Brad.

Yes he seems knowledgeable, he is the one who tried to get the TORS pipes but none are in stock anywhere in the US warehouses according to the computer. I am fine with the D&D set up although it is more money, it also comes with a K&N air filter. This is a touring bike for me and not a hot rod, if it performs decent that will be good enough. I know that it will perform just fine, better than most of the other big touring bikes. I am used to the power of the Boss Hoss but with the handling of a KENWORTH truck. This bike feels light and nimble to me and I will like that. The Boss Hoss has straight pipes and is a lot louder than the Rocket will ever be, it will be a nice change to have less noise. I really like the Boss Hoss but its a very different motorcycle, it will be nice to also have a little more normal one even though most in the motorcycle community would not consider the ROCKET 3 to be very normal.

Once it's moving. When stopped, I'm devoted to keeping it from falling over.

My other bikes weigh 1100 pounds and 1300 pounds, the Rocket seems light. In turns it means that about 400 pounds less weight is not trying to go to the outside edge with about the same amount of tire contact. The front tire on a Boss Hoss is a 16 inch Metzler 880. The rear is an AVON.

I sat on one at Reno Street Vibrations. They let me drive it about 6 feet forward then put it in reverse. Amazing machine. Wouldn't mind having that big block in a 'Vette.

My dealer hooked me up with the Hero voucher program which basically gives you $500 for being military or a veteran. I ordered the R3T TOR slip-ons got them home and found one has a rust spot and the other has a ding. Sent dealer pix and they ordered another set. Found out today this other set is jacked as well with a ding. They are ordering a third set. I will say the QC person at Triumph's factory accessory dept should be canned.

I have bought a GIPRO for my 14 R3T, should I bother with a TOR tune?
