Cycle World article

Welcome back!
Thank you, I always monitor and enjoy this site. I turn to you guys when I need help. I still love the Rocket Touring and still see many of the guys that were posting when I got here are still here. Am disappointed that there is no new touring model with the big motor. KEEP HAVIN FUN.

ALL said and done its not the bike TRIUMPH promised should go back to R&D for a revamp ITS already TOO SLOW
I agree. Designed to look like a muscle/cruiser with the largest engine that performs at the slowest end of acceleration. I think the only bike it will outrun it this class of bike is the "drag strip inspired design" Harley FXDR! This amazing beast should romp everything in this class of bike, period!

I see that the writer was impressed with 2500cc being displayed on the valve cover. That is a lot in the normal bike world. In the abnormal bike world the V8 Chopper is considered small with only 5734 cc!
I've owned a Boss for 5 years and a Pro Street V8 Chopper. Love those bikes. What I love about the new Rocket is the handling. The power is great but it's not V8 great. It reminds me more of my 109.

How well does the belt drive work? Is it a style compromise? great pic btw.
