Cycle World article

Is there anyway all you genius's could pool your resources and come up with a COVID-19 vaccination?

Not a chemist by a long shot!
BTW - Serendipity!
Today arrived in the mail was a complimentary copy of Cycle World #1 2020 with the R3R drag testing!

Distance from the start of fall to end of the 1st second.
Not a trick question.
Of course it's a trick question, that's why you use it in court. You're giving a calculation for terminal velocity 176 feet per second, but it takes 12 seconds to reach it. Until then you are accelerating. The first second you fall 16 feet. The material the ball is made of and the weight are not relevant, they're just mentioned to try and trick the person too.

Not to mention ft/s^2 Is acceleration, not force

I don’t know why I get sucked into these pedantic arguments. If I don’t stop I may have to move to the NW and type in bold font when I retire

Not a trick question.

Which is it?

It’s the same way a Rocket doing 100mph can’t overtake a Harley doing 25mph given a 100 yard head start. By the time the Rocket has covered the 100yard gap, the Harley has gone 25 yards. By the time the Rocket makes up that 25 yards, the Harley has gone ahead 6.25 yards. Every time the Rocket catches it, the Harley has always moved a quarter of the distance ahead. So it can never be overtaken.
