Cup Holder

I've learned to ask (most of the time) before I start hugging people. Once they learn to appreciate a good hug I'll sneak the kisses in*. My wife doesn't approve but what can I say? I love my brothers. :)

That made me smile as I remembered visiting my retired (now long dead) grandfather about 30 years ago on a 2000 mile + trip down South from my new job in the Northern Territory. He was a tough old farmer and horseman of great repute who had run cattle up in the Victorian highlands and un-fenced wild snow country during summers and once in the late 1950's had led a Government expedition of 40 or so on horseback for a week or two through the wild country to survey a potential new road route through the mountains. I hadn't seen him for about 7 years and when he opened the door I said "G'day Pa" and for the first time in my life hugged him and kissed his cheek (something I have never done to another male, relative or otherwise before or since). The look of shock on his face I will never forget and it was probably the only time in his life it ever happened to him either. I still don't know why I did it then or now. :)

Funny how different cultures can be. *Maybe I should have used your graduated approach :roll:

RAM mounts make a swiveling cup holder. It uses their standard rubber ball mounting system as well. I have one, and two mounting spots on my bike so I can have either two devices on the bars or one device and the cup holder. Use it for a water bottle for longer trips though rather than coffee.

They even throw in some koozie on the side!

You had me going for a moment there as the closest thing to a Koozie I could think of was 'Floozie' and it sounded like quite a good deal although I didn't see the relationship besides the 'mounting'. :D
Then Googled it and discovered your 'koozie' is our 'stubby cooler'.

I use the Kuryakyn holder, chrome. I like it because I can remove it without tools in 10 seconds and put it away when I'm not using it.

Same hear. My cousin saw my cup holder and stated it's not a mortocycle anymore...but then again he rides a Harley, so what the hell does he know?

The comments about mini vans and trucks do not matter because most newer ones already come with cup holders. If the touring model came with one then I wouldn't have started the thread. :) Could anyone tell me where the lighter is on this thing? My Harley had two.

Some friends become as close or closer than family. Totally understandable.

I'm searching for my next cup holder. It's not on top of my priority list but I'd like to know what you guys are using. I'm missing my cup o' joe on my morning commute. Love and kisses. NORM
I use one of these. I've had it for 5 years, used it on several bikes. No tools required and believe it or not, tough as nails. Fits a multitude of cups. I've never seen one that is as flexible and easy as this one is to use. Stays where you put it, and best of all, it's about $7.
