I can't believe I've been here 14 years, I remember feeling like the new guy, everyone else seemed to know each other, and knew each other's real name. Now I'm an old gray beard like the rest of you, lol.
Engineering 101, beef up the frame, beef up the brakes it is nice being able to stop, beef up the suspension and last but not least beef up the engine.
Good luck I hope you have deep pockets
Yep... However if you need the rocket to perform more than what it is able to in basically stock form with better pads and properly adjusted suspension .. just buy a bigger faster bike. Let's all face it. As awesome as these all are... Going faster or rather quicker in a turn is not the bike. It's the rider and if you need it to permore more....nothing is going to do that other than skill
Learn to ride better before you go with more power past bolt on.
Unless your wallet has more IQ than you do....

Some people just are not into their bikes..I thought I might find at least one with a little knowledge and know how.. how many on here actually work on their own bikes..let alone do any sort of modifications..
I got my own cams ground

Do my own porting, made my own exhaust, made my own inlet manifolds and picked up 92 rear wheel horsepower.. I've road raced drag races and ridden bikes for 50 odd years so I'm thinking my skill level is ok. I've also made crankcases, cylinders, cams and known inost countries for my work...I'm thinking respect and manners go along way.. if anyone can not contribute with some sort of intelligence keep quiet you might learn something
I'm trying to find out if you can put an earlier crank in the 2500cc engine to lengthen the stroke by about 9mm?? That would pull it out to 26 or 2700cc also can you drop the later engine into a classic???
Food for thought..
I'm finding a few issues with an engine swap. I will post these issues here as a resource for anyone considering the same thing. I encourage ALL to add to this thread.

Also a member on here r-111-r turbo has done a stroker kit.
Anyone fancy a 2500cc Rocket Stroker Engine Kit? And/or a 6 speed Rocket transmission? That is the vision. Step 1: Build an R&D testing engine from spare parts to run on a bench This is the construction of the R&D Test engine, which will be used to facilitate & test engine enhancements...
