She is near brand new.
How do you find the riding position.
I’m stuggling with the foot pegs as being short in the legs and used to the original rocket which foot pegs are forward more.
I put the FC 17 controls on they are to far forwards and I can not put my electronic cruise control on so I’m going to put the original rocket foot peg and bars on the roadstar.
Hard to get used to a new bike after having the old 1 for 13 years
Get out on that thing and give it a blast.
I got 5 weeks to go and my arm will be out of the sling then I’m loading the bike up and gorn

Great questions!
I have a long torso with short legs and arms (linebacker body).
I had issues with the right peg due to a bad rt. hip and knee, so I used the right highway peg a lot.
I even got pretty good at operating the rear brake with my heel. Finally I had enough close calls from over using my front brake and under using my rear brake and installed Standard Rocket rails and boards. Was a Godsend for both my hip, knee and my ground pegs, frame and engine cases! The Standard boards increased my ground clearance and reduced dragging hard parts to just the outside rear edges of the boards, which I could push a tad more by allowing them to flex up.

Bars were a search for me. The Roadster bars were too forward for my back in long trips of 300 - 500 miles per day for two to six weeks.
I ran a set of Classic bars, which helped a lot. I now run some Flanders pull backs that are very comfy and allow me to lean back into my back rest.
They required all new Barnett cables and extending the wiring . . . HUGE PITA!
I do not recommend them for hard twisty riding . . . but I do do it on occasion. I will not use these bars on YurMama because the engine will be built.
Try a set of Classic bars. Tis likely you will enjoy them.

I ran thunder bike bars from NZ on the last one they were perfect but the road star had a set of Bearly bars on it which are back more .

The cook walked in! LMAO
