corbin young guns seat anyone?

I didn't think there was a backrest for the Young Guns Saddle ... you might be referring to the Rumble Seat Saddle with the flip up passenger backrest. Corbin Motorcycle Seats & Accessories | Triumph Rocket III (3) | 800-538-7035 (IMO that is a goofy looking seat) Corbin Motorcycle Seats & Accessories | Triumph Rocket III (3) | 800-538-7035 is the Young Guns ... The also make a "Fast Gun" that looks nice but doesn't have any passenger pillion. Corbin Motorcycle Seats & Accessories | Triumph Rocket III (3) | 800-538-7035

My stock seat has never been back on my bike, the corbin seats never break in they stay as hard as the day they came off the production line

For me the break-in was a good 60 days but I don't ride every day. I bought my Rocket from the original owner and I had to "re-break-in" the seat. It did change to me but I could tell the difference until it did. The original owner must have been a lot shorter than I am and I moved the "sweet spot" back a bit after use. I'm 6'4" tall. I love my Rocket !

Actually, my friend, I think there IS a backrest for it. On the Glossary index page there is a YG WITH a backrest! Additionally, they feature a Stinger, a similar YG spinoff iteration, also with a back rest. So they DO make them. I'm just curious to read if any captain has experience with such a seat. Getting long in the teeth as I am my attention is finally turning in this direction...unfortunately

Well...gotta scoot. Just brought my Flip Radiator Insert in from the mail box. Maybe breakfast with mama in the foothills somewhere...Morrison, Idaho Springs.... then out to Dubflush (Pete) in Aurora for my new Carbon Fiber half Bear Claw install. Finally, may shoot up north t check out some female Bully's for my "Atomic Dog!"

Their names and styles are somewhat confusing, the one with the backrest that looks like the Young Guns Saddle is actually a Gun Fighter Saddle. And as is typical when you see some combination you want, Corbin doesn't make a base for your bike.

I'll bet the same jackass named every seat they have and that guy really liked guns, gun fighting and going fast. Three seats are all named "Gun Fighter", "Young Guns", "Fast Gun".... Confusing

You can call and ask them about adding a backrest to it, but like they told me when I just wanted a heating element added to it ... "That seat base isn't designed for it on that model".

Can any comment on how the Corbin Young-Gun seat fits together with the Triumph sissy bar & rack? A photo would be great too (if possible).

Thanks Mittzy - that's fantasic.

The other question I have is how does the front (nose) of the Corbin compare to the stock profile. Reason for this question is that I have the Triumph tank protector stuck on fairly snug to the stock seat and not sure what will happen if I try to remove it from the Matt black.

I've been on Corbin seats since 2007. First on my 06 America which I put over 40Kmiles on the Corbin, and now on my Rocket. I don't think I'd have anything else. They are hard seats but comfortable. No hot spots.
