RB, have you done much comparison riding between the CC and the Vision? I did the demo rides this spring on both and really liked how the Vision felt over the CC. I prefer a fixed fairing. However, the bags on the CC are far better. What made you choose the CC over the Vision?

TD.. I agree that the Vision rides better than the Cross Country but I liked the looks of the XC better and larger bags helped me make up my mind. I had installed the trunk on my 2011 which made it even better for traveling than my old Gold Wing.

I traded my 2011 in on a 2012 XC Tour model because of the HID light, ABS brakes, IPOD connection, Lowers and more. I'm an old guy and comfort is important to me. I especially like the electronic cruise that both my Vics had.

I liked my Rocket a lot but I have short legs and controlling that monster while backing up or stopping at stop signs was a chore. I can flatfoot on my XCT because of the low seat height and actually back it out of my garage with getting off the bike.

So if anyone is wondering that Corbin seat has been in the original box in my climate controlled garage for two years because I was too lazy to take photos and put it up for sale.

Ron did you find the Corbin to be more comfortable than the stock, other than it being lower. Is the passenger seat as long and wide as stock seat. I am pretty happy with the seat that came with my touring but if I could improve ride for me and wife I am interested.

From looking at the picture of my bike can anyone tell me if it is stock or is it a upgraded seat? I have noticed some Rocket Touring bikes don't have the rider back rest.

I really don't remember too much about the stock seat except that the Corbin was more comfortable for me.

I would love to have it but bad timing for me right now. That's a great price. Surely somebody here will jump on it.

How tall are you guys that have the Corbin seat? I'm 6'3 A friend had a Corbin with a backrest on his HD and it felt like I was on the gas tank. I've had a couple Corbins on other bikes but none with the drivers backrest.

I don't think the 09 R3T's came stock with the backrest. Mine didn't anyway. All the one's I looked at had the standard seat. The 2010's models were fully loaded up with all the options including the drivers backrest.
