a bit more room for your tailbone, it doesn't rub like the hump on the stock seat. Position does ny change much, feel like the same height, maybe back about 1/2". Much more comfortable than stock set. A passenger would prefer the stock seat.

your bike was a Rocket3 GT right? the original seat on the GT is a little further back than the R, i was mostly concerned about the reach to the handlebar but 1/2" doesn't sound that much.
