Coolant Questions

No original leak. First leak was with the new Samco which stopped leaking once it was adjusted. Removed bleeder screw to bleed the system when I re-filled with coolant. I'm thinking brass washer, but uncertain. No leaks from anywhere until now.
 
You misunderstood, I don't care what type of metal the washer was made of, so long as one was used and it wasn't made of steel.

Did you remove the thermostat when you changed the hoses?

Have never touched thermostat.
