Good question purchased my connectivity module from dealer no instructions figured it was under tank NOPE it’s near rear fender as dealer installed mine as I got frustrated go figure spent an hour removing tank and reinstalling it back plug and play plus download and resetting service icon , not a walk in the park as downloading was challenging according to dealer Oh well I’ll figure her out as the miles roll on

Definitely an odd place for mounting. Right under passenger seat below painted plastic but on top of the frame.

I was looking at the instructions and it looked like you had to remove quite a bit of stuff to get to the mounting location. I have the GT with the pannier mounting brackets installed as well. It looks like those need to come off, the under cover, backrest, fender and taillight. How much of a pain was the install overall.
