Competition Werkes exhaust for 2.5L coming soon

Pops and crackles, no ecu adjustment needed, I’d say that ain’t right. should be smooth and no unspent fuel blowing up on exit, sure looks good

Kevin- all R3s pop and crackle. No unspent fuel blowing up on exit? I'm confused. Never seen an R3 like that. BTW, I like the pipes and the bike too.

Mine doesn’t ever crackle and pop, the tune Neville lush just made for the build is as smooth as butter no cracking popping or unspent fuel none and its not running lean it’s running perfect just like my old 20368 nels deristricted tune it was perfect no cracking popping bs,

If its just the mufflers then it will only maybe sound a little different as the real 'muffler' is in the cat box underneath...the mufflers we see now are just metal covers...at least thats the way i understood it to be..
Surely the whole deal from the headers would have to be changed deleting the cat box to make any real difference...'could be wrong' he said shrugging his shoulders...if the cat has been deleted wont the tune be altered?...but what do i know...be interested to see what you guys think?
If that's what has been done, then the 3rd pipe on the left side is not there now???

Check the picture - there is NOTHING anymore. At the end of the day the "exhaust" is just a short 1-to-2-tube with two small exhaust pipes at the end, attached directly to the manifold.

I expect the windows falling of the wall when I start my TFC inside the garage with this device mounted...

Let's not forget it's a *prototype* at this stage! Nobody knows how the final version will look or perform, or if they will be bothered to make EU legal version of it.
I hope they will have a can on the left side as it will help balance the looks after the wood stove OEM muffler/cat assy. is gone.
I remember the Kawasaki Vulcan 15-1600 they looked a bit weird when the "goat belly" was dropped in favor of aftermarket exhausts, especially from the left side.

As I've said many times before, any mods from stock and the fueling will need to be altered to suit.
Those who just fit a system with out re tuning it, no matter what the blurb says, will run lean, this on an all ready lean set up.

Be aware.
The 1200 Scrambler runs fine de-catted though, after running a auto-adjust cycle.
Of course i can't be sure the R3 is the same.

Until today only with my XJRs the aftermarket exhaust (in my case SC-Project & AKRAPOVIC) were real winners - but this was also based on the fact that the RP19 is in fact strangulated by the original exhaust. The new ones created directly 1 l/100 km less in addition to nearly 10 hp more than on the papers...

I do not expect this with the R3...
