comparing tunes

Ok, so the 14.7 is just what it says in the file? This may well have no relevance to your bike. BTW 14.7 is leaner than 14.2.

Nev is spot on just because the Maps target A/F is 14.2 or 14.7 it is on a target for calculations not what is actually coming out the exhaust pipe. What type of air filter/s are you running bud and what end cap/ disc are you running on the pipe?

Sorry, I meant the jardine tune is 14.0 over mos of it and a friend said it smells rich.

Warp, i'm using the tripples that go under the bear claw.

I have 17 discs on there. If I leave it open its very loud and pops a lot.

Warp, can you load one of the tune boy canned tunes and then pull it to tune ecu?

Nev, while you're on the phone, can I ask your opinion? There's no one here that can use Tuneboy. I have a great mechanic that tunes with power commanders, which eliminate closed loop. Can he tune it at low throttle and rpm to be as smooth as if the ecu is was in closed loop.

If he is a great mechanic I am sure he will be able to. It is very possible and do-able. In fact it is easy with a PC compared to most other software.

What's the point of narrow band closed loop? our bikes worked fine without it and efi, for that matter.
