The Carpenter springs are about 10 pounds or so stronger than the Barnetts. I have them and they work well in my NLR/Viking 200 HP Rocket.

Hi, Still not solved my clutch problems,. I have reduced the gearing by fitting lower profile tyre 40 instead of 45, but too late to save the latest Barnet clutch. would it be ok to fit an extra driven plate when I rebuild the clutch?
