5,900 miles on my 2008 Rocket Touring and in for 3 weeks getting clutch shaft repaired. Told it wasnt hardened dont think thats true with all the model years having the same issue. Beware that you could be walking home.

Happened to my 09 with 700 and some odd miles on it this past January. When they went in to replace it they found that it was missing the bottom bearing. Luckily the bearing is a common Triumph part and they had one on hand which was not a part of the replacement kit Triumph sent. After replacement the clutch was so much easier to operate, who would have guessed it. No problems since.

glad it was an easy fix I dont know all the info as yet still waiting on the parts. One thing fopr sure there seems to be an issue with these things. Still love the bike.
