Gday i'm tall and lanky Bull still look away over top of it. Actually wanted it a bit higher. Brackets I made are quickly adjustable. Up, down and tilt.
Similar issues on a smaller scale here, M8.
I be only 5'-11" and run a 22", also with re-curve.
The wind breaks on my helmet, just above my eyebrows.
Me thinks better to have shield too short than too tall.

Yep with you there. I have a Shark helmet that can be open or full face and the chin piece locks at the back of the helmet. The big annoyance is the visor when open rattles with the Clearvue. Unless you lower it or the windshield. Use an open face helmet perfect, until you crash and land on your face...

For those of you with Clearview shields and the 5 position vent, is the vent worth it? Can you notice the difference and would you do it again? Thanks. Looking to order soon.

Depends what sort of buffering and where it affects you. A lot of air that comes in behind the screen from the sides and below is due to the low pressure area behind the screen and high pressure air flowing around the edges of the screen. The vent increases the air pressure behind the screen reducing the pressure gradient and swirling air rushing in to what was a low pressure area.
I ride with am open face helmet and have a bushy beard and the effect with and without is quite noticeable. Without my face gets whipped by my beard and the eyes get air blasts but with the vant and lowers it is much more comfortable. To really gain the most benefit you need some lower screen extensions as well.
