Clearview windshield

You have to use a little heat to break lock tite red! It can be done without heat, but not easily as you have seen.

Very happy with my Clearview, it has lasted great and is still crystal clear.

Mine arrived yesterday and I installed last night.

I bought the GT23. 23" height, +4" width with recurve and vent, in Clear.

Made my short 55 mile commute this morning and it was a different ride with this windscreen vs stock.

Not much wind today but I would expect it to be a game changer on windy days.

I bought from Clearview previously for my America and would recommend them to others. The month lead time is frustrating but that is my only issue.

@HansO What size is that? I'm considering a taller screen, but not sure how much taller I'd want. I'm 6'3" and with the stock windshield my head is completely in the airstream over the top. makes for a very noisy ride.
Also, how has the vent worked out for you? I'm not sure how effective it'd be on hot days if the extra cost would be worth it.

thanks

Gday, I have the Clearview 23" with vent and recurve (get these). I'm 6'4" and am pretty happy with it. Only complaint, and its not the screen, the visor on my helmet is lose and it rattles it as I ride, if i use my open or close face helmet its superb.

Important thing to remember is that you need to be able to see just over the top of the screen for when its raining at night, I made adjustable mounts so it can easily be lowered for this.

Problem with trying to upload a picture of something called a clearview is its hard to see....

Not at all; Very good picture. I don't want the taller screen to ruin the lines of the look, but from what I've seen it goes well. Thanks too for height and vent feedback. I was thinking the 23" was appropriate, but it's hard to tell without it actually being stalled. if it works for you it should for me too.

Thanks

Get a helper. Sit on your motor then use a 4' level (the bottom) from your eyes forward over your existing shield. Measure the distance from shield to level. Subtract 2" and add remainder to height of original shield. I also suggest setting original shield to the lowest setting before starting.

I agree to keep the lines flowing in the early spring I mount my SECDEM/BULLSTER fairing then when the temp warms up I switch to the flyscreen

While I wait for my new wheel to come in, and before all of this happened, I ordered a clearview windshield and it showed up yesterday!

guessing the Clearview in on now, how much difference did it make in the amount of air coming from under windshield?
