Clear indicator lenses?

What do you mean by visible?
Are other drivers as able to see your signalling, compared to clear or orange? If less, is it slightly, or quite a bit less. I do like the look of the smoked, but need people to see my signal, especially from behind.

Can we get them here in the UK?
Yea, I have smoked . A better effect than clear altho I do have a couple of rear smoked if you want them ? they are still attached to the rest of the indicator tho but I don't need them !

I ran the smoked for awhile. Visibility is a little less but easily seen. The LED's am running different story. Visibility sucks. If your riding into the sun visibility of back turn signals is weak. Reverse the direction of the sun and front are weak.

Are the smoked lens' as visible?
Having tried clear and smoked copies of the OEM lens. I have returned to orange.

The smoked ones cut down the light exiting the lens by a good 1/3rd to 1/2.
Clear ones have an issue in BRIGHT sunlight. The lens collects light which is refracted around the internal facets of the lens and basically creates a soft glow. This in BRIGHT light is actually quite strong and masks the orange bulb output.

You can redress this by building custom 10W LED backplates into the indicator housing but at the end of the day - The orange lenses with orange emitting LEDs work best.

I haven't seen mine from behind while riding, so .... ( I am running LED too, so there's that)
