Chrome Plating R3 Wheels

I wonder why Triumph doesn't offer chrome wheels for the Rocket. They did for the America. I purchased these and found they were much easier to clean. Looked fantastic also.

I agree and have asked the same question. It would make cleaning the wheels so much easier and as you said it looks fantastic.
 
Here is the final result and maybe the first Rocket 3 Roadster posted with chrome wheels...from the "Land of the Rising Sun"...

I like it. Easy to clean, Samurai on the eyes. Nice build. Can we get details on the rear bag and the air damper. Did the damper make a difference?
 
I have the touring model. My rims looked less than good. I had my rims chrome plated year before last. They look great. The last two years equal 20,000 miles. No dings or scratches. I used a 80 grit flapper wheel on a 4 1/2" grinder on the rotors. Cleaned them up nice. Best $700.00 I've spent on the Rocket. Lots of comments on the rims. The back rim doesn't show much. If money is tight, do the front on the touring and save half the cost.
