CES exhaust observations

Hey Big Kel, Dave is who done all the work on mine as well. I had cam and pistons and he got a bit over 200 for me. He knows his stuff.
I will be doing the same after xmas some time. Dave will get the bits from Neville and do the work. Before I meet Dave I was planning on riding to SA to get it done but I am so busy with work in the summer I wont have time. It has worked out well for me,

Lushy reckons he's the bloke to see in Perth like Kel said.
Yep I found an old thread on here about dyno tuning where Lushy recommends him.
Dave done a good job tuning mine and was telling me he has done a few Lush Racing engines including his own one. Dave rides a R3 and rides it hard to.

Actually, anybody with CES headers and TORs? Very curious to see photos of that combo, actually used on a Rocket...

I don't but I do have pipes, one each side, one each side, that fitted up to the stock header the same way TORS do. The outlet pipe on my CES header is 1 3/4", which is what you'd need to fit TORS. I haven't had my bike dyno'd yet so I can't give you numbers but I can say that I believe I gained a fair bit in low end and the top end feels freer. Probably compromising a bit of hp but I doubt you'd loose any of the torque.

When I was up in QLD early this month I was talking to Trevor and Leslie and she was showing me some of Trevors creations and there was a picture of a cross over pipe to replace the Triumph one which hooks up to either the Std Mufflers or the TOR's from his Headers so he can make you up a cross over to gain the most or you can get the Headers like Richard which will fit up to you std crossover, the benefit you could gain from Trev's crossover is you could ask him to match it up to the larger outlet (for couple extra $ I imagine) of his Headers he uses for the 3 into 1 muffler and gain a bit more flow = HP.
It would be worth asking him, he is very approachable and easy going.

I noticed your Foran combo already, some time ago. Looks unique, would be really interesting to see a dynochart. I guess hp numbers will be good as well!
Just wasn't aware you have mufflers on both sides. I do prefer stereo sound in general!

This is exactly what I am going to do. Thanks for the info, I was already racking my brain about that xover pipe!
Because I would like to buy just black headers first, and check out how they look and perform with the TORs. But I do want to keep them compatible with the fast CES muffler, in case I need more power again, later on.
