CES exhaust observations

Trev @ CES may need a Touring just to check fittment etc, i dont know if Trev has made a set for the Touring as yet.

Trev has got back to me and said the pipes will surely fit. I am guessing the paniers will not be a problem. When I order, I believe I will go for the shiney silver headers.

The way the green back is against the Ozzie dollar now is the time to buy that's for sure

What about no coating and then having them chromed ?
I could be wrong but you would probably be better of having Trev (CES) send them raw and then you arrange to have them chromed in the States as chroming here in Auss is very expensive but I would still have them Ceramic coated inside to keep the Heat down as just chromed would get mighty hot on the leg, As I said I might be wrong you would best get a quote from Trev to get them chromed here in Auss as opposed to getting them chromed in the States

Hanso has a very good point there, Boog. Bet you can have the chroming done for about half the price in the Old Dominion!

you would want to have the coating inside to help keep the heat down and it would reduce any blueing of the chrome, I not sure as you would want to check it out but you probably need to get the internal ceramic coating done first as heat is involved which may affect the chrome finish
Not mention I believe I read somewhere that Ceramic Coating the inside also helps smoother gas flow
