why?
what is the advantage?
1olbull might know about these ceramic bearings?

They help, but in very small increments. Removing the wheel seals is part of this process to reduce drag, so you need to clean/inspect more frequently. Brake pad spreaders are a big deal too... much more rolling resistance in brake pads than wheel bearings, ftr.

I've got a few sets of BST wheels with ceramic bearings...can't say I noticed any difference but that lighter wallet should make you marginally faster!

They are supposed to roll more freely and should last just about forever...you can find a video or two on Brock's Performance where they bang the actual balls, steel, cheap ceramic and Worldwide Bearing balls, with a huge hammer and the results are pretty impressive. The WW ceramics didn't deform and actually left divots in the hammer and anvil.

No difference felt with bst rims and ceramic bearings, very interesting

To be clear...no difference felt in going from standard steel to ceramic bearings. Huge difference felt in going from OEM wheels to BSTs.

I know all the drag race and land speed guys use ceramics but when you're chasing tenths or hundredths of a second or mile an hour, I'm sure they make a difference. Everyday street riding...nope.
