Cerakote for Headers. High Temperature or Extreme High Temperature

Came home after a good ride and measured header temps with bike still idling in garage. Sorry for the blurred images. Headers at the block (360F-370F) Heat Shields (145F-155F). This is with the Jet Hot Ceramic coating applied.

Morning Guys,

These are my readings. Last Saturday 4/26/2025. I will try to describe step by step.

This is the temperature instrument used and it was basically sensing the garage temperature at noon, here in Aurora, Colorado. You can see the wire and a thermocouple.

I decided to hold it in between my fingers to sense body temp and see accuracy:

I put the thermocouple in between the exhaust and that holding shield:

Temperature reading on that location, basically "Dry Bulb":

Increasing rpm's to about 1700 rpm:
