Carpenter Sidewinder Exhaust Installation - Help Needed I think

I was able to get the left pipe to sit better on the header by pulling the bottom of the pipe out a bit from the lower pipe and reseating it. It's still not perfect so I may try some permatex like warp suggested.

The dealer only had the two crush seals but funny enough the kawasaki H2 crush seals are 'almost' the same shape so I am going to use one of those.

I tried dry fitting on the bike and it cleared all the important areas. I think the sidewinder exhaust is a little more out of the way than the brute, Eric mentioned that the reason the changed was to get things out of the way and decrease right leg burns.

Need to find the permatex then I am good to go. I'll post pictures once I'm done. With any luck I'll get this done while the turkey is in the oven tommorrow (Canadian thanksgiving).

I reckon when I do eventually buy sidewinders I'll fit em up, tack weld the header in place to the flange and then pull it off the bike and weld it all the way around, same with the mid turn joints.

Not sure you will do that, welding Stainless to Aluminium.

Opps, I should have read Ruzzles post first.
