Carpenter Intake scoop

Ok next question. Does or did you add some moisture drain holes for when it scoops up rain in a down pour and I'd like to see a view of the mounting holes you added if possible. I do like it ya got me interested for sure.

Oh and are you going to match the color or try a chrome paint? Man if the red chrome was half close to the stripes it would really stand out.

Yes I did add a drain hole. It is plugged with a red stopper as seen in the picture. I am going to paint it black to match the bike. Got the paint, waiting for the painter to get back on his feet. Currently painted with a $6 Duplicolor rattle can ceramic engine enamel.

ok for some reason I missed the first Picture which might be from all the overbearing adds that take up the phone screen. good shot of the two sensors you moved also. !!!!

Finally got the scoop painted to match and installed on the bike. My painter did an excellent job. Matches perfectly and fits like a glove. With this intake, exhaust, and this hot tune, this thing is scary fast all the way to redline. I don’t see how you guys with the big HP conversions can hang on! Now on to my next project. Plan on installing the series style rectifier to the left of the starter under the bike. I hate the way the starter sticks out when viewing the bike from the left and hopefully the rectifier will mostly hide it.
