Carpenter Brute Exhaust

... and yes, Beast, the Brutes will make considerably more hp than the Jardines with the proper tune.

As far as the mellifluous note that it puts out unbaffled, many Hardley Ablesons out there are considerably louder at idle or at any point when on the throttle, so I don't think that you need to be overly concerned about any heat from any but the most stringent or anal-retentive of the boys in blue!

I'll be adding the Brute to my ride in the next month or so and I will be baffling it, nonetheless. I don't want to flush out any more deer than is necessary.

Hahahaha!!! That's funny. Flushing out the deers.

Yes, the Brute exhaust is the I'll be going.

To be honest, I was contemplating trading her in to get a Ducati Diavel (test rode one and it's quite nice I must say)

However, in the end I decided that there's no bike with the presence like the R3 and so I'm keeping her. And have made out a list of to-dos by this Christmas.

In no particular order of priority...

1) Carpenter 240 kit & Brute exhaust
2) Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 Fork Kit
3) Shock upgrade??? (still dunno what options I have)
4) Pretech calipers front and rear
5) Galfer wavy rotors
6) BST carbon rims

And then I'll be a very contented (but very broke) owner of a nice R3.

Oh, and just to give you an idea, we have two types of boys-in-blue here.

The first is TP (Traffic Police).

These are the guys who catch you speeding, not wearing seat belt, reckless riding or driving, etc...

The second is LTA (Land Transport Authority)

These are the guys who catch you for illegal modifications like exhausts, blowers, striker kits,
Led signals, tinted visors, wide tires etc. and ALL these guys are anal-retentive.

Lolz..

Hey, Beast... make sure not to spit on the sidewalks there! I hear they'll cane you pretty good for that.

Hey scorp, dunno if warp missed yor post but......i have a mate with a non-modified rocket. He has ordered a brute coz he can run it now, with min tuning, lonely but NOISEY 140hp+ lol plus he likes the look and it has a 2 inch diameter, so in the future he can build his engine up and he wont have to get another exhaust. thats his train of thought. It will soon have the mandatory Beartrap [half a claw] 3x KnNs, de-sec'd,PC.....ect.After a lot of hummin/harrin i have ordered one as well.Like many others, i have waited anxiously to see Ponters/Nevs/Ricks exhaust. It makes sense to me to buy an exceptional product that is made locally than to scource one from O/S.However,i dont want to mix and match, so its Carpenter stage 2/carpenter brute combo for me.Bob tunes with his own pipe, not someone elses.I'm hopeing he will share some of his tuning secrets with me.I mean absolutely no disrespect to Ponters or Nev,and believe that just with Nevs involvement, such is his reputation, their product will be among the finest available.2 things swayed my decision to go Carp. My personal preference is 2 i.d. and i want it NOW.I have had my bike on hold for so long, it aint funny.Ive had the $ to finish it 3x now and each time,we/SHE has grabbed it, sh!t i hope she dont see this LoL. So this week, i have ordered/bought all the xtra bits needed, even a new Arai helmet and leathers. After all the bits are in it,she's off to my Dyno-guy.After a run in period,i will post 2nd dyno results.

gday slick, appreciate your diplomacy mate but no stress. just wanted to confirm that rick apparently has about 5 complete systems finished and on the shelf now so the wait is over! Several fellas have the carpenters and love them. i only went this other route as was wanting as many ponies as possible keeping it NA instead of blown - (just a personal pref not necessarily the best option for everyone) and i know several guys that have found that the currently available systems were great but not perfect for the absolute optimum flow. given all of my work was done locally, including tune i needed a tailor made solution to Nevs work. I am sure you will be happy with whichever option mate. I'm the kinda fella that would stop at nothing to get the best I can and from what I researched Nev was it for me and from the times I have sent my bike to him, he has always over delivered and under promised. I like that in a bloke.

Oh yeah, and besides, I dont want any competition in HBay when it comes to best Exhaust! LMAO:roll:

Lolz.. You need to check your sources. Caning is only reserved for rapists, armed robberies, molest, etc..

Spitting in sidewalk is a $50 fine, I believe.
