I got a new Carbon fibre from mud guard for sale if interested, I bought it to replace a damaged front mud guard on mine but ended up getting a replacement original as I would have only the Red on the tank otherwise.

I appreciate the author but I'm gonna hold off on the carbon for now.Until I put money into exhaust and some other things

Got CarbonFBR rear backrest delete plugs and also night kid carbon headlights bezels! First one install right away second took me 4 trying to make it right and seller did not stay behind his product and offered no help, if you handyman you will make it work if not go CarbonFBR! Reason was to try Ali I need it now and they was not in stock with first seller, so I try AliExpress! In the end off the day I did it and both are real carbon and I like it!

I make my own. It's not difficult, but you still have to pay for the material.

Question about carbon fiber pieces for the exhaust 3 pipes on the right side. Do they go on top of metal heat-shields or instead? Does carbon fiber burn or damage due to heat?

Instead. And the CarbonFBR ones (as an example) have a metal foil shielding on the back and heat washers to mount them. I’ve had mine for years with no issues. Carbon can burn though, as my dealer mis-mounted the exhaust centre shield when they did the brake recall and the exhaust heat discoloured the shield just on the test ride.

Great bit of kit I wouldn’t be without it in the UK.
