I used to ride like that but nowadays I mostly stick to beer.

Wow, incredibly fast on a tight course. Applies just the right amount of power to come out of a turn. The amount that he turns the front wheel is amazing.
A non rider would not understand the big deal.

What amazes me is his lean control - one he sets his line, he doesn't vary it by as much as a degree. He is amazingly stable in the saddle. And his left/right transitions are remarkable. I'll wager this guy has been riding since he was a sperm . . . .

If I recall correctly it is a Japanese Moto-Cop meet competition. This, in general, is why running from motorcycle cops is a fawking terrible idea, they can and will out-ride 99% of bikers.

Here's a recent (2009) Florida Moto Cop Rodeo - these guys are also very good riders. I knew several of the guys in this competition and they are all GREAT riders!

I dunno, taking turns at speed is easier than going slow. I'm still more impressed by those videos where cops do Gymkhana with their Harleys.
