can anyone tell me if the classic one piece saddle will fit the roadster ???

The one piece seat has a latch mechanism on the underside of the passenger seat, so you need the right bracket on the bike for it to mate up.
 
do you think i will get hold of the bracket alone,also will it need drilling to fit mine .thanks.

No the bracket has holes in it that line up with the mud guard. Its a easy swap just make sure you get one with the drivers backrest on it.
 
drivers back rest,no you threw a spanner in the works,i don,t think we have them over here on the roadsters ??
