Calling Windvest Owners

I agree, Mac, though I will say that I'm not as high on the Windvest for our r3s looks-wise, as I was on my VTX 1800C. it just suited the lines of that other bike better, IMO, of course that is purely a subjective matter/personal taste.

Frankly, Triumph's flyscreen does about the same job for me on my R3, at 5'10" tall, than the Windvest did on my Honda, i.e. , it reduces most of the wind load on my body and face allowing some buffeting from my forehead on up.

I really like the Windvest on my America. I suppose I should wait and try that one (14") out on the Rocket before dropping cash on the larger version. As with all things Rocket, form follows function. :D

I did hear back from Windvest that the VTX version wouldn't work.

well with them risers... it will make it look different on the bike..they move the handle bars back 2" and up 1" and the windvest clamps to the bars !!!!!!

ED:cool:

True, but I was considering a set of those risers too. I have stubby arms (okay, well, pretty much stubby everything  wait, I've said too much)... :p:D
