Buying a Rocket III info needed

I ran into someone up my way who had an 08 touring, and it was over 100,000km, not sure what that equates to in miles, but either way, that was a lot of riding, said he has never had an issue with it. He did his oil changes between 3-5000km whether it needed it or not, always had it checked at the service intervals and it has been very reliable. I would think part of it would be that the engine isn't really under any stress, I have an engine load gauge on my 2010 touring and I have never seen the engine load go high, and I have ridden it hard at times.
Pretty much most engines if you take care of them will last quite a long time, my 83 Goldwing interstate had 550,000km on it when i sold it last year, guy who bought it is still riding it, and he went to the east coast and west coast on it, and in its history the only major breakdowns were two water pumps, and two solenoids, oil changes and service were done religiously on that bike.

:Howdy Hammer, welcome from Maine, you may want to strongly consider a model with ABS, I had a chance to brake hard the other day and it was much appriciated,
