Bugger this....

Bloody dangerous now!...Thanx...all good again since its untwisted itself, pains gone. The only pain i have now is in my pocket after shelling out for those Wilbers...cheers.

Twas looking at those Wilber 642s, but I found the Wilbers America web site difficult to gleam data from!
I did manage to gleam they were over $1900.00 and apparently have no preload adjustment.
I'll stick with my 444s for now.

Today’s job is to refit my forks after getting them upgraded by the local suspension shop with a compression valve set (race tech G2R),rebound valve set (SR 2001 midvalve) and springs (race tech 3827010).

Wilber’s are next on the list :)

Glad to know your not suffering so much now Tal . Is there a permanent fix for what ails you ?

It was a nodule of fat which surrounds the kidney as protection. It was twisted and inflamed...very bloody sore to the point of taking my breath away...couldnt touch the spot where it was it was so tender. With morphine, anti inflammatory's and codeine it slowly came good. We think it was caused by hitting big bumps on my ride to Nelson. The road is very bumpy nowadays due to the heavy trucks using that route alot since the road closure on the coast after the big earthquake we had. I must have been in a turn or something and took a good thump....hence the new suspension.
It's a long drawn out explanation, but basically its what happened.
It wont happen again will it?...it can't, cos ive just forked out over 2 grand to fix it!!!!
