I got the exact same Wilburs for my 2013 R3R and can't believe the difference. If I had known it would make that much difference in handling I would have bought them the first day, regardless of the price. ( Well, maybe not totally regardless?) But I think they're worth more than list price anyway.
Just for reference I weigh 185lbs.

Thanx for the confidence builder....I'm 240lbs with my gear on so should be good. Cost to me was $NZ1633.00 then I will get hit with duty and GST tax upon entry to NZ...AM I GOING CRAZY!!SOMEBODY STOP ME!!..haha, its all good..

As a matter of interest, did you do anything with your front forks?..I pushed down on mine and the rebound seems to be not too bad...I guess time will tell...

Holy *%#! It was in USD and I thought it was something else! I have the Hagan adjustable rear shocks on mine and very satisfied with the results. had to "turn" them up for our road trip this summer. But these are some very nice shocks to say the least. Christmas is coming early for you and you get to pick your present!! Hope you heal up.

I haven't done the front yet but intend to have the Traxxion Dynamics gas cartridges installed this spring.

That was including shipping which is bloody expensive all on its own....they give you a price with free shipping so it makes it easy to push "Buy now"...some places don't ship to NZ either...any way you look at it, it wasn't going to be cheap. I had a price quoted for Ohlins and that was pushing $NZ1600 ....so decided to go for it and get the Wilbers...

My Fournales were about €600: and I have never regretted getting them.

But after my fork upgrade from Maxton - if I were starting from scratch (esp if I was in the UK) I would just go to see Richard at Maxtons and have a full front/rear setup made.

Next year DMX in Spain (who are just down the road) will start making fork cartridges. They were VERY impressed by the Maxtons and see them as the price to beat.
