Did you check your tire temps after track use? How did the tire feel once hot? Did it start to feel "greasy" at any point?
Have you ever seen a tire after track use with a pile-on on board?
Unfortunately, we R3 riders are at the higher end (and possibly exceeding it) of the range for the compounds used. I believe the weight and torque of the R3 is pushing the compound past its limits when riden agressively.
The same issue occurs in many tires used for track days on sedan cages, while lighter cars and bikes have the opposite problem - not enough heat when using the same compounds.
Based on what is available, I am not sure there is much you can do other than start a weight loss project on the R3 if you are going to keep using it on track.
