Brutus just died - electrical fault
What a crappy day, huh? I had a worn battery wire shorting out when I first got mine. A simple fix, but a bugger to find!! (Had a LOT of help from here, though).

What's an RR?
 
I would seriously doubt that the charging circuit failing would cause a "dead break" as would seem to be the case.

Fingers crossed it's simple. But finding it may be time consuming.

I call his majesty @DEcosse to the consulting room.

Mine has done that ever since new.
Usually two to three times a season.
 
A tragedy. Mostly, I think, where you were. Bugger pushing up hill and getting RACQ types. 5 Bananas and a case of cherries ...... they are just coming on and sweet as hell with the low rainfall down here.
