I use maxes front and back. Going on 13,000 miles now.

Metz 150, Avon Cobra 150, Michelin Commander II 140... I prefer the smaller tire as it provides an immense improvement in turn-in, low speed steering and overall handling, plus it makes the big girl feel about 150 pounds lighter than she actually weighs.

Note: I currently run a matching Exedra Max 130/70 ZR17 in front, but that is not compatable with ABS brakes or, reportedly, with the Roadster's different front peg placement.

Avon Cobra 150/80-17. There is no Exedra Max in that size, just an Exedra which isn't much chop.

There is a Max for the Touring front, not for the other models. Stock sizes I'm talking.

@Joesmoe, I will check on the size when I get home later this week. As far as I know they are the same size as OEM.

Looks like I need to replace my very expensive Metzeler rear after only 8000 miles. Will take a very close look at the Exedra Max combo.
