Breakaway Cruise Control

So I got mine installed today without manipulating the handlegrip and it is great. No need to do the extra work on trimming it in my opinion. Take a look. Also, I love the way it looks professional and like it came with the bike.
Looks good what year is your bike. You might want to add your year and if it's a Roadster before the FATBOY see you posting :D

Got any pictures. How does it mount :p
I ride a brand new 2015 Roadster. Just got it and joined this forum a few weeks ago. Added the cruise control, the 140 cu inches embellisher, highway pegs and mounts and engine guards and a bug screen that I had from another bike thats clear. I am probably dropping in a new horn as the one it comes with is for losers.

Skydog, it mounts just like regular bar ends. it's weighted & has matching weighted bar end for left side. looks factory, all you do is twist to lock, but you can still move the throttle if needed as it does not lock so tight that you can't still turn it. it's really great & you can't tell it's there. photos to follow

IMG_6167.JPG JUST TWIST COUNTER CLOCKWISE TO LOCK - YOU CAN PUT YOUR HAND HALF WAY OVER IT & ROLL YOUR HAND TO THE REAR WHILE STILL HOLDING THE THROTTLE IN POSITION -

How does it work?
The Throttlemeister works simply by friction. Once mounted to your bike, you turn the Throttlemeister bar end in the same direction as opening the throttle. Doing this will put pressure against the throttle tube, which in turn will hold the throttle return spring from retracting. The Throttlemeister will never completely "lock" the throttle. You can always "override" it in any situation. It will not engage or disengage automatically

Machined from Billet Stainless Steel & Ampco Bronze:
Eliminates rust and corrosion
Maintains a lasting Beauty

Sealed by "O" rings to keep out dirt and water:
Will maintain it's smooth and solid operating feel for years
No Maintenance, No need for lubrication

Easy to use:
Engage by turning in the same direction as opening the throttle
Disengage by turning in the same direction as closing the throttle
Can be operated wearing heavy gloves
So simple to use that there is no need to leave it engaged when it is not needed

Doesn't take up grip space:
Since we mount our Throttlemeister where the existing end weights mount, you don't loose precious real estate on your hand grip, unlike the competition's

Includes matching left side End Weight:
Bar End & Throttle End are the same weight

Quick installation:
On most bikes simply remove original end weights then replace with "Throttlemeister" and matching End Weight

Two sizes of Throttlemeister: Heavy vs. Standard
The Heavy model works and mounts the same as the standard model but is .400 of an inch longer and weighs approximately 2 oz more per side
This should help reduce vibration

We have received a lot of comments that it is easier to operate because of the bigger size
Weights are an average and may vary depending on the type of mounting kit needed for the installation

I prefer the brake release so that you could disengage without the twist. But also looks like a decent solution.
