Brand new to Rocket 3 ownership having just defected from Harley Davidson

Thank you for the warm welcome...

Thanks guys for making me feel so welcome, not really yet had a chance to ride the new bike......... hoping to put on some miles this weekend. What seems to be the general opinion on the stock vs Triumph accessory pipes? All the searches I do seem to focus on D&D, Zard and Raask alternatives. At this stage I simply want a better sound than stock. Currently they are offered in the UK around £330. ( mine is the Touring version )

If you want to Keep the Stock Look but sound much Better, Go for Staintunes they may be a bit pricy but will never wear out 100% stainless steel including the sound deading material:cool:

welcom From NY

I all-so defected, had a sweat juiced Sportster, looked like sex on two wheels, and oh baby sounded sweat when pour'n on the coals.But that thing scared the crap out'a me.When Igot my new roadster last year commented to my self replaceable foot peg feelers? like I would ever lean this beast that far over threw the turns,6700 miles later new set of pegs, and tires,and ridden like never before, have no regrets. May not look as sexy but gona fix that. http://www.carbondryjapan.com/photo_gallery/gallery_img/rkm/large_03.jpg Plus the R3R goes faster in 3nd than the Hardley could, and it even has brakes! The R3R reminds me of an old big block hot rod,it is accelerating and addictive.

Welcome to the true land of torque. H-D's are lumpy but have all the kick of a 90 year old chorus girl.

Rode harleys for 35 years.
Of course you could probably tell that from my log on handle huh?

G'day Mate;

Welcome from Fraser Coast Queensland, you've made the right choice. Got mine 12 months ago 2010 roadster, having put 22500klm's on it and still loving it. You'll find the Aussies have an issue between the red & black ones, the black one being better of course. Great place for all the info you'll ever need, combined with great people. Welcome Marty
