I have a question for those of you with a Corbin Seat. How do you like them overall? Been told they are a very hard seat which has me concerned. Been waiting for Mustang to build a seat for the Roadster but they claim they dont have a timeline set yet. Thanks in advance.

Absolutely love the Corbin's. I think you'll be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't. I have the solo and the dual.

Absolutely Love mine I could not go back to a Standard Triumph seat yes first impression is it feel very firm but it cradles your butt and the memory foam soon forms to your shape, made the difference from being sore after a 1 1/2 hour to basically being able to ride all day, I suffer from osteo-arthritis in hips and knees so opted for heated Dual Tour and when it cools off the heater get switch on the difference is awesome

Ditto it's a must have. The missus quit calling my bike "the other woman" after finally riding on it with the Corbin.

Doc they are firm but I hear that makes them better. I have not road on one yet because the Triumph dual touring seat with the drivers backrest works so well for me I see no need to go with the Corbin. Although I would love to try one of their rumble seats. I think when it comes to the Triumph seats it depends one the size of the rider. Of course if your seat is firm and hard like Corbin's your probably not hitting the seat pan like some fellers do. I like the dual tour with the back rest so much I have one one for each of my Rockets and one of them has been redone in Alligator hide. It make it a little stiffer like the Corbin and more air gets under because of the alligator skin being uneven.

I am not sure what type of seat you got with your Roadster they changed when they first came out in 2010 and now I think they come more with the OEM seats. Can you post a picture? I might have something different you might want to try I have a new single with the separate Pillon and the older 06 Classic seat before they developed the back rest for the driver in 07. I wish I new how to get a hold of Medic as he had soemone redo his roadster seats both driver and passenger and it came out great. Of course he had the taller Roadster seat to start with and I am not sure if the pans were any different.

I have the Russell Day Long seat. I have ridden on Mustangs and Corbins. I like them both also. But after trying out this Russell on another Rocket I decided to send my touring seat to them and let them build one for me. All I can say is its the best motorcycle seat I have ever put my ass in. I love the seat and if I were to trade bikes this seat would go with me. I have a couple of spare seats that I can put on the 05 should I sell her. Al
