My thanks to Wayne (Dragline) for the magic blue anodizing on my tach & speedo housings. No doubt they make her 2 MPH faster.

super sweet. I expect that one of these days while I'm trolling through Orange County that I'll see a bluish-black flash pass me.

I think I'd have an organism if I saw that with heavy chrome exhaust And high pollished aluminnium
The fact that you can get all this from an inline triple is hidden in black is not above question.

Thanks, guys! She's built for speed, not looks... but looks don't hurt.

Wayne turned me on to MetalCast paint from Duplicolor. Several colors that turn chrome finishes into anodized look:

The blue/gold temper on my stainless exhaust system is a power badge... the entire exhaust glows cherry red when step testing large throttle openings. Even the fiberglass muffler packing vaporizes holding 280+ HP on the dyno. Chrome would be cooked right off. There's a reason why race engines use stainless steel scrubble packing.

I've yet to see another R3 in Central Virginia... would be great to ride with a few.

I was unaware of the benefits of this stainless steel and surely can understand how chrome would cook off. I was having a moment visualizing that beauty with chrome werks But there little reason not to go grey on the engine

Will you be attending RAAIV? It will be, after all, just down the road a bit.

May 8-11 near Ashville? Ashville is great in the Spring. I'll mark the calendar... you never know, you might get to critique her in person.
