Blown away by a sportbike in the twisties...

Two of the "cruiser" guys I ride with also have Ducati's. No way would I ever think I could compete with that or anything like it. Just happy to be riding something different with more brute force than most other cruisers. I kind of enjoy being an oddity.

Really the most important thing overall here is that a rider know full and well not only what or where his operational limits are, but also is intimately familiar with the overall performance envelope (particularly with respect to the given riding conditions) of whichever motorcycle he captains. In plain English, don't ride over your abilities and know both the performance parameters and the limitations of the machine you are riding under any specific set of conditions.

With the right set up you can get 30 mph faster, then shift into 5th gear and push her higher.
But it still won't corner like a sport bike.
Sport bikes are only fun when your racing and not comfortable street rides a Hot Rod Rocket is the most fun Ive had and its a great everyday good handling badass comfy cruiser
