Blew a coolant line

The exact moment mine blew. Replaced it and blew that one too. Still unsure why, but the latest one is all good. Should have got the 'Silicon ' ? ones fitted when i put the engine together after the serious mods were done

You can use a straight piece of heater hose but one end is smaller than the other and it is a ***** to get at without pulling the front house, pulling the water pump cover also helps. Just finished replacing that exact hose 3 hours ago. Took the dealer a week to get the hose and water pump cover "O" ring which there are 2 different one depending on you bikes serial number.
I missed the Three Twisted Sisters ride because no on had the parts in stock.

This has me wondering if it is just a bad batch of hoses that got installed on these bikes or is this bound to happen to us Roadster guys sooner or later?

Using precision guesstimation 7/8" one end 1 1/16" other end, I had o split the old hose end to end to get it off. I used a 1" piece of heater hose it was very tight because of setting in the indention in the front of the case, as soon as I got the hose on the dealer called and the correct hose had come in so I pulled the heater hose back off.

My same hose sprung a pin hole size leak last month. Dealer didn't have in stock either. Ordered the Samco Sport hose kit late on a Friday night. Got the confirmation it shipped on Monday and it was here on Tuesday morning.
