Big bike, cramped riding position, need info

Found a site called Hermy's Triumph where you can buy oem parts. It looks like you can buy boards and rails for the Touring or Classic off the site. I think you could get all the parts needed for less than $1000, probably a lot less. Would need different brake pedal and a few other things, This may be the route I take to convert the Roadster to something a little more comfortable.

I like highway pegs, had them on my VTX, but if something happens fast I like my feet near controls. I ride all comfy on the highway pegs and would forget no gear or brake pedal when needed.

What difference would it make if I used the classic or touring boards, have to accommodate the ABS somehow but is one further forward or lower than the other.

Nice looking stead can you tell us about the sport screen and maybe give a couple more shots of it?

Some more epics of the screen as requested (don't look too closely, its not quite square, hitting a dirt bank at speed does that...) It can be adjusted/tiled slightly too the way I mounted it. Sensor on top is the radar detector light, not that I ever speed.;)

Some people just mount highway pegs forward on the rails for cruising. I believe the gold wing ones were what @ROCKETHEAD used on his.

Also as stated People have adapted the Floor board kit's to the roadster I suspect the standard Pegs will adapt fine also. You should find a older Rocket and sit on it to feel the differences in peg placement.
I like the look of those pegs. Is this your bike or Rockethead's bike. I would be very interested in knowing the part number or where to get those.

Hey @Markx, if you don't have/want front dresser bars, I've got a pair of mounting brackets and Kuryakyn highway pegs that bolt in where the dresser bars would go. I picked them up used a while back off Craigslist here, and decided I didn't want them. Let me know if you're interested and I'll take some photos tonight.
I may be interested in those mounts & pegs. Do you have any pictures. Or maybe a part number to reference. Thanks, Rick

I have a friend with a Touring that took the mounting rail for the footboards and controls and added 4" into it to move everything forward. He also bent his highway bars forward to fit into the notches on the radiator shroud. He doesn't come here much so I will try to get some pictures of the set up to post.
